Site looking good, trade area marked out and ready to welcome the 56 traders booked in to attend (several have already turned up) in addition there are several auto jumble pitches booked. Today we made great progress on a rather nice sunny day with just one very light shower which lasted all of a minute or so.
Tomorrow we get to put up the signs, mark up the VW Club pitches and General Camping areas and Richard will start to prepare the show and shine field to accept what we are expecting to be a large entry this year.
Plenty of good food will be on hand for the weekend too of course, excellent traditional pasties from Andrew Rippon which are fresh baked on site, a hog roast provided by Roseworthy Farms using their own home grown pork, Freshly cooked baked potatoes, Elaine will be there with really good value burgers, bacon, sausage based grub, there will also be a salad bar, crepes for those seeking a lighter meal and much more!
Our local milkman, Paul, will be calling late on Friday and on Saturday and Sunday and John Dower, the Stithians based butcher will call selling fresh meat including his own recipe sausages and hoggs pudding which are well worth trying if you like good tasty meat products, John should be calling each day but timings can’t be given as it depends on when he returns home from his mobile butchery round in the area.
If you are still making your mind up, come on, make the right decision and head to the Jamboree @
